1Week5KBook the call

Fixed-price MVP companies, compared.

Every price on this page comes from the provider's own website, checked July 2026. The field runs from $1,999 to $60,000, the fine print differs more than the prices do, and most of the ranked lists you will find elsewhere were written by whoever ranked first.

The table.

We build apps for $5,000 in a week, so we are in this table and you should read it knowing that. Every other list we found fails that disclosure test. BuildMVPFast calls itself the number one MVP agency in its own hero copy. HouseofMVPs publishes a ranked list of agencies with itself at number one, above competitors it prices at five to forty times its own rate. This page competes by being checkable instead: every cell links to a source you can open, and where a provider does not publish a fact we say not published rather than guessing.

Ordered by price. Verified on each provider's site July 27, 2026. SwiftAppLab, which used to sell a $4,900 MVP, has pivoted to AI receptionists and no longer publishes an MVP price, so it is not in the table. Tell us if a row is out of date and we will fix it.

What the fine print says.

The prices cluster around $5,000 but the products differ underneath. Three things separate them. First, what runs where: Tessellate Labs publishes that it deploys through Lovable.dev, which means the platform ceiling we describe on our Lovable page applies to the finished product. Second, mobile: only three of the eight ship anything installable from an app store, and responsive web is a fine answer only if you knew that was the deliverable. Third, what happens after launch, where the range runs from nothing published to $999 a month.

The questions that sort any shop on this list, including us: what is the total price for my actual product, in writing. What date do you commit to, and what happens if you miss it. Who owns the code and, just as important, whose accounts does the infrastructure run on. What exactly happens when I ask for something mid-build. A good provider answers all four without flinching.

Where we think we win, stated plainly so you can test it: the complexity ceiling. Most of this field builds CRUD products well. Our week is built for the harder class, marketplaces with split payments, booking systems that cannot double-sell, real-time products, feeds designed for scale, plus one Expo build compiled to native iOS and Android. Two senior engineers, your accounts, all the code, $5,000. If your product is simple, several shops above charge less than we do and we will tell you so on the call.

The context: agencies and platforms.

Traditional agencies quote by team-months. Business of Apps puts simple apps at $5,000 to $50,000 over two to four months, medium complexity at $50,000 to $120,000, and complex apps at $120,000 to $300,000 over nine months or more. A Clutch survey of 158 US small businesses found a third spent under $10,000 and a third spent over $50,000.

At the other end sit the AI app builders: Lovable Pro at $25 a month, Bolt Pro at $25, v0 Premium at $20, Replit Core at $25. For a simple product built by a patient founder they are the cheapest path on this page and we say so. The fixed-price field exists for the products in between: too hard for a prompt platform, not worth a six-figure agency quote. Our $5,000 page walks that decision, and the cost pillar covers build-by-build pricing.

Questions.

Is a $2,000 to $5,000 MVP real, or a bait price?

Real, if two things are in writing: exactly what the price includes, and what happens when scope moves. The honest version caps features or screens and handles new ideas as written change quotes. The bait version is a low anchor with required add-ons discovered later. Ask for the total for your actual product, in writing, before paying anything.

Who actually owns the code?

iBUILDMVP, HouseofMVPs, Maxiom, BuildMVPFast, LaunchMVPFast and we publish full code ownership. MVP Expert and Tessellate Labs do not publish an ownership policy, which does not mean you lose the code, only that you should get it in writing first. Ask about accounts too. Code you own on hosting you do not control is half an asset. We set up every account in your name and keep nothing on ours.

Why do timelines run from one week to three months?

Three variables: how senior the team is, how hard it leans on AI tooling, and how much is genuinely custom. A one-to-three-week shop is a small senior team working AI-first against a capped scope. LaunchMVPFast takes 6 to 10 weeks because it runs a fuller traditional process. Neither is dishonest. What deserves suspicion is a shop that will not commit to any date at all.

Can a fixed-price shop build a marketplace or fintech app?

Check the ceiling before assuming. Most low tiers cap at roughly five features or fifteen screens, which fits CRUD products and does not fit split payments, double-booking protection, or feeds that stay fast at scale. iBUILDMVP prices complex builds at $15,000 to $40,000+. Our week exists precisely for the hard core: real system design by two senior engineers, with the ceiling named on the call before you pay.

How do these prices compare to a traditional agency?

Business of Apps puts simple apps at $5,000 to $50,000, medium complexity at $50,000 to $120,000, and complex builds at $120,000 to $300,000, over two months to a year. A Clutch survey of 158 US small businesses found a third spent under $10,000 on their app and a third spent over $50,000. The fixed-price field on this page exists because the low end of those ranges became buildable in weeks.
